The Granville nominated for 2 London architecture awards

The Granville, South Kilburn’s flagship co-working, event and community hub, has been nominated for two awards by New London Architecture, in the Meanwhile category and in the Community category. New London Architecture is the independent centre for the built environment, bringing together professionals, politicians and the public.

The Granville is run by the South Kilburn Trust, providing space to 30 local start-up and growing enterprises, has three amazing event spaces, a community café run by the local Saucy Soca, as well as hosting a wide range of activities and services for the local community. The Granville refurbishment was designed by RCKa architects in a partnership with Brent Council and the Mayor of London, and through an extensive consultation with local community members.

Mark Allan, Chief Executive says “We are really proud of what we have achieved here, and it’s very rewarding for all of us involved that The Granville has been nominated for two prizes, in particular in the Community category. We are grateful to the support from the local community, local businesses, from Brent Council and the Mayor of London, and to RCKa that we made this happen. ”

The awards will be announced on the 3rd July at the NLA Annual Launch at the Guildhall.
